Snakebite was a Scottish heavy metal band from Broxburn, West Lothian, active between 1979 and 1984 during the formative years of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM). Emerging from the same underground movement that produced many influential British metal acts, Snakebite became one of the most promising Hard Rock bands in the Scottish scene of the early 1980s.
