M-Theory Audio presents a limited-edition ‘terrae sanguinem’ colored double vinyl reissue of God Forbid’s fifth album “Earthsblood.’ Originally released in 2009 on Century Media Records, this is the album’s first time on vinyl. This new issue of “Earthsblood” will include an expanded layout with added photos and personal liner notes from drummer Corey Pierce, as well as two bonus tracks “Stockholm Syndrome” and “Static Signal” for over 60 minutes of music.

“Earthsblood” was produced by Eric Rachel (Every Time I Die, Black Dahlia Murder, Municipal Waste) and Christian Olde-Wolbers (bassist for Fear Factory, Cypress Hill and Vio-lence), along with a mix by Jens Bogren (At The Gates, Opeth, Amon Amarth). It includes guest appearances from Symphony’X’s guitarist Michael Romeo and keyboardist Michael Pinella. The album features the artwork of Gustavo Sazes (Arch Enemy, Cynic, Exodus), and the new vinyl layout was handled by Tom Bejgrowicz (Misfits, Bad Brains, Beastie Boys).

God Forbid supported this album touring with Lamb of God across the US and Canada, as well as being part of the Rockstar Mayhem Festival tour with Slayer, Marilyn Manson, Trivium, Bullet For My Valentine, Cannibal Corpse, and All that Remains.

God Forbid disbanded in 2013 after six full-length records and hundreds of live performances, but guitarist Doc Coyle has remained a prominent member of the heavy metal community in the years since through his involvement in the band, Bad Wolves. Since our reissue series began with “Determination” two years ago and since “Gone Forever” and “IV: Constitution of Treason,” God Forbid has reformed and continues to be active playing the Blue Ridge Music Festival and the Headbangers Boat cruise, as well as supporting Lacuna Coil and playing their own headline shows in the northeast.
