GASTEM, an ’80s-era hard rock band originally formed in Damascus, Maryland, was active between 1985 and 1989, earning strong support throughout the hard rock scenes of Baltimore and Washington, D.C. After a 34-year hiatus, GASTEM reunited in early 2024 to record the critically acclaimed III, then celebrated the band’s 40th Anniversary in 2025 with reissues of their long out-of-print albums Catch the Flame and Do It Like Wild.
